AC Milan announced the signing of Nigeria forward Samuel Chukwueze from La Liga’s Villarreal on a five-year deal.
The transfer is valued at about 20 million euros (approximately 22.00 million USD) with an additional eight million euros in potential add-ons, as reported by Italian media.
Chukwueze, who is 24 years old, played for Villarreal since his debut in 2018, accumulating 207 appearances in all competitions.
During this time, he scored 37 goals and provided 31 assists. Notably, he was part of the Villarreal team that won the Europa League in 2021.
For his national team, Chukwueze has been capped 28 times and scored four goals since making his debut in 2018.
As he moves to AC Milan, Chukwueze will wear the number 21 shirt for the Serie A club.
