The Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 will be hosted across eight stadiums: Al Bayt Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Lusail Stadium, Stadium 974, Education City Stadium, and Al Janoub Stadium.

FIFA World Cup 2022 Breakdown
The 2022 World Cup will start from 20 November, 2022 to 18 December, 2022. A total of 64 matches (48 Group stage matches + 16 Knockout matches) will be played in 29 days. Remember each group has 4 Nations, 3 matchdays per group with 2 match fixture per group on a matchday. Which means the total number of matches in a group will be 6. Since there are 8 groups in total, the number of matches across all group at the Group stage is 48 (6 fixtures per Group x 8 Groups).

The Round of 16 (between December 3 and 7): The first two places in each group, 16 teams where two teams meet per match. Hence, 8 matches.
Followed by quarter-final matches (4 matches) between the eight advanced Nations. The semi-final matches (4 teams producing 2 matches) will be held on 14 and 15 December. Both semi-final losers will clash for third place on December 17. The final of the tournament will be held on 18 December 2022. Meaning 1 fixture at the semi-final, and 1 fixture in final. 16 total matches at Knockout.
